ShortBio

I received the degree in Building Engineering from the Polytechnic University School of San Sebastian-Donostia in 2005, a postgraduate in Advanced Project Management from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona in 2010 and a postgraduate in Digital Transformation from the EADA Business School.

I worked in the construction field, as site manager and building engineer, for 6 years. After that I joined TECNALIA in 2010 where I worked as a researcher in the Fire Safety laboratory participating in numerous tests of materials, products and systems and in several research projects to improve the performance of materials in the construction and industrial field.

Since 2015, I have been working as the Head of the Infrastructures and Buildings platform where we develop our work in the fields of Linear Infrastructures Safety and 3D Technologies and Solutions. Our lines of research include applications of Computer Vision 3D, Computational Design, Generative Design and Multicomponent Optimisation, all in the field of Smart Construction.

I have published several technical articles in specialised journals and scientific papers and I have participated in multiple conferences and lectures related to the topics of fire resistance, infrastructure safety and 3D technologies and solutions
