Ainara García is a Chemical Engineer from the University of the Basque Country, with several training in environmental management, environmental inspector, energy management, risk prevention, Dangerous Goods by Road, LCA and hazardous waste management.

Environmental researcher with over 15 years of experience, has developed his career in the private companies ENVIROTEC and SITECMA, the Deinco Group, doing environmental consultancy and water engineering; in the Technology Development Center LEIA, with management and environmental consultancy and research role to SMEs and participating in collaborative projects with local SMEs related to eco-innovation, sustainable transport, etc; and, since 2011, in Tecnalia, where she has been working in several projects of innovation around sustainability and circular economy, carrying out his work on LCA`s, ecolabels, etc. Also, has participated in the management and development of the COMPITE program, from SPRI agency of the Basque Government, focused on the competitive development of companies in the Basque Country.
