Ainhoa Ascarza Plata. BSc Electronic Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and BSc on Physics Science (Electronic & Automation) from University of Cantabria.
In 2008 she joined Robotiker, as researcher in several projects of power electronics and electrical machines, in particular in the Energy area, mainly focused on small wind generation, highlighting PSE-MINIEÓLICA project, Singular Project of a Strategic Nature.
In 2011 she joined Tecnalia Research & Innovation (as a result of the merger of Robotiker with other technology centres), in particular in the area of Electrical Networks and Storage, within the Energy and Environment Division, where she participated in several projects related to Smart Grids and Electric Vehicle. Since 2018, she has been carrying out works related to cybersecurity, highlighting "SECUREGRID" and "Cybersecured Smart Grid" projects, where she carries out programming tasks to secure communication protocols in electrical substation.
In 2019, she joined the Digital Energy platform, which is now part of the Operational Unit for Energy, Climate, and Urban Transition, where she carries out cybersecurity-related work in the energy sector.
