M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2003. In 2001 she started as an intern at the Engineering and Consulting Centre IDOM, where she spent 9 months. She worked in the company ANDIA GROUP ELECTRIC APPLICANCES, S.A.L. (design and manufacturing of electric machines) in several positions (technical and marketing, technical director) from February 2004 to June 2008. She worked in the company ZIV P+C, S.L. (design and manufacturing of electronic devices for protection and control of electric grids) as Application Engineer, from June 2008 to July 2010.
In 2010, she joined to TECNALIA REASEARCH & INNOVATION where she worked as researcher in the Offshore Renewable Energy Division. Her main research activity deals with electric machines and control systems for wave energy converters. In 2018 she joined the Digital Energy platform, as a senior researcher focused on IA/digital twins subjects applied to energy assets. She has worked on numerous R&D projects in the offshore renewable energy sector, of both international, regional and national programs, and is the author or co-author of more than 15 publications and conference presentations at national and international congresses. She also takes part in several working groups related to digitalization (IEC TS 61400-28 ED1, IEA Wind digitalization task, WindEurope TaskForce digitalization).
