Computer engineer graduated from the University of Deusto in 2016. Since his training, he has worked as a software developer in the web and IT services field in several companies. In 2017, he joined the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) to lead the development of the new service management portal and, in 2019, applied all the experience gained to the cybersecurity sector as a blue team in the Basque aeronautical company ITP Aero, largely dedicated to the national defence business.

Among his responsibilities were the network security of IT systems, management of corporate information security policies, technical analysis of vulnerabilities, monitoring of security events, coordination of the SOC external service, and the development of protection measures for manufacturing OT systems.

Currently, he is not only applying his skills but also pushing the boundaries of his field. He is working on his PhD as part of the cybersecurity team at the Tecnalia Research & Innovation technology centre, focusing on Quantum Communications. His research aims to find new solutions that can enhance the integration of this technology in critical areas of society and improve the security of the infrastructure necessary for its operation.
