Graduate in Chemistry by the Basque Country University (UPV). Since 2011 he has been director of the Department of Materials and Components for Energy of the technology center INASMET and later leading the Energy Storage Area of ​​TECNALIA, coordinating activities in this line of research. He is currently responsible for Technology in the Hydrogen, Materials and Processes Area of ​​TECNALIA. With experience in materials, components and processes for hydrogen and energy storage technologies (batteries, electrolyzers and fuel cells). Author of more than 40 articles in scientific journals and several patents, he has also been general coordinator of several European projects on these topics.
