Currently, and since 2016, Alberto works as Director of TECNALIA Madrid.
He is also part of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Technological Platform for Energy Efficiency as well as the Forum of Innovative Companies and the Madrid Business Forum, where he also chairs the R&D and Business Opportunities table.
Previously and beginning his professional career in 1992, Alberto was a Market Research Technician (GROUP 1 Research), worked as a Programmer and Systems Analyst (Coritel, Centrisa and Askin), he managed the Software Quality Center (Askin), he was Consultant, Manager and Director of IT Process Improvement Consulting Division (PROFit and Sopra Group) and was Director of Business Development at the European Software Institute (ESI), as well as General Director and Co-owner of ESI Process Consulting.
Alberto is a Statistician from the Complutense University of Madrid, Master in SME Management from the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations, Higher Economic and Financial Technician from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid, Certified in CobiT Foundation from ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and SCAMPI Lead Appraiser certified by the SEI (Software Engineering Institute, a department of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA).
In 2022 he completed the Senior Business Management Program (PADE) at the IESE Business School.
