ShortBio

Graduated in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Zaragoza and master’s degree in Big Data and Business Intelligence from the School of Industrial Organisation. He began his professional career working as a Field Engineer at CETEST, in its Instrumentation and Measurement Department. As part of his activity in CETEST, he participated in different projects in the railway sector, developing vehicle dynamic behaviour and structural fatigue tests, both under the applicable regulations (UNE-EN-ISO). Its main functions were to define, prepare and install the different sensors and data acquisition equipment in the railway vehicle, carrying out the test’s measurements and preparing the final technical report on compliance with the regulations for the commissioning of the vehicle. All of these tests were carried out at the end customer facilities, the one that purchase the vehicle, because of that he has been working all over the world (Brazil, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, etc.). He has been working as a researcher at TECNALIA since 2019, in the Smart Systems business area within the Industry and Transport division. His main activity focuses on the design and implementation of smart monitoring systems for the acquisition and pre-processing of data at machine level and sending it to the processing layers in the cloud.
