Personal profile
ShortBio
Industrial Engineer and Industrial Organization Engineer from the University of Navarra (Tecnun). PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country UPV-EHU in 2019. He joined Tecnalia in 2007, and since then has participated and coordinated various research projects focused on new production processes, especially studies of manufacturing processes (water and abrasive cutting technology, machining studies (drilling, turning), and additive manufacturing technologies, mainly WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) technology). He has published more than 60 scientific articles on these technologies in different indexed journals. Since 2014, he has been a project manager focused on metal additive manufacturing technologies within the Industry and Mobility division at Tecnalia. Between 2021-2023 he has carried out activities as technical director of ADDILAN coordinating new product and process activities in WAAM additive technology. He has coordinated different projects at European, regional and national level. In 2024 he was recognized within the 2% of the List of the world's most influential scientists in various scientific fields according to Stanford University.
