Álvaro Gómez Barroso holds a degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Vitoria-Gasteiz (2022), and Master's in Computing and Intelligent Systems from the University of Deusto in Bilbao (2023). Since 2023, he has been working at Tecnalia as a researcher in the Clean Powertrain and Electrification area, developing his Doctoral Thesis under the Doctoral Program in Control Engineering, Automation, and Robotics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), as part of the Bikaintek 2023 program. His research focuses on advanced control algorithms and artifical intelligence for energy and power management in mobility solutions.
