PhD in Chemical Sciences, specializing in Chemistry-Physics, Faculty of Sciences, University of the Basque Country Leioa with a doctoral thesis on the kinetic study of thermosetting resins. She also has a degree in Chemical Sciences, specializing in Petrochemicals from the University of the Basque Country, Faculty of Chemical Sciences, San Sebastian and has completed her dissertation entitled "Study of the kinetics of curing polyester resins" at the same university. Senior Researcher at TECNALIA Foundation. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of resin development, biocides and wood protection, including the elaboration of a white book and the management of more than fifteen projects at National and Autonomous level and two international projects. Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country in the Department of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science since 2011.

 Among his most relevant publications are three Q1 category publications in the field of polymers and two other Q1 because of the collaboration between the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and Tecnalia, in the co-direction of the thesis of the PhD student Asier Elejoste in the line of polymers and wood.

She has been a member of the IRG "International Research Group on Wood Protection" 2017-2020. She is currently a member of the Network of Excellence LIGNOMAD "Network for the promotion of wood and other lignocellulosic materials used in construction". She has been attached to the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering (POLYMAT) within the Biomaterials Science and Engineering group ZIBIO (2017-2021).
