Senior Researcher in ‘TECNALIA Research and Innovation’ since 2008. I hold an international PhD degree in ‘Business Administration from Innovation and Internationalization’ from the University of Basque Country in 2016. With nearly 21 years of experience in technological innovation research, I have been actively involved in EC-funded projects, enhancing my professional experience in the coordination and management of European R&D projects. I am proficient in writing high-quality technological R&D&I proposals for various funding programs within the fields of strategic innovation and business modelling research. During the project implementation phase, I support the evaluation of potential exploitation routes and business models for new technological developments. After completing a 4-year PhD scholarship in R&D management at Ikerlan, a technological center, I began my career at Tecnalia in 2008 as a scientific researcher in technological innovation process management, primarily for the industrial sector. In 2016, I specialized in knowledge transfer and business opportunity identification, working as a Business Innovation Expert in the Building Technologies Division. I explored complex scenarios to identify business opportunities with the potential for market uptake of new services and technology products through market and economic viability evaluations in various fields such as Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency Retrofitting, Integrated Urban Regeneration, and Heritage Economy. Since 2022, I have been working as a Technology Manager in the ‘City, Territory and Environment’ business area of the Energy, Climate and Urban Transition Unit, helping researchers and technologists identify and create value through technological developments for our clients and industry and providing cities and territories with cutting-edge solutions to address urban planning, decarbonization, circular economy, and environmental challenges. My main fields of interest are technological innovation management, strategic management, innovation ecosystems, circular economy models, and business development, including business model innovation.
