Graduated from the Basque Country University in 1991 in Mathematics. Since 1992 she works as a researcher at Tecnalia at the Manufacturing processes and materials Area. Her main experience is related to: the development of predictive models for the modelization of heat transfer and temperature evolution of steel products during the continuous casting, reheating and hot rolling processes ; the application of data analytics methods and optimization techniques in steelmaking processes; the integration of components and development of friendly user interfaces. She has several scientific works in international journals and conferences and she is co-author of a patent application (EP20382982.5- Low Ni content austenitic stainless steel with high strength/ductility properties (13/11/2020); the design of the new steel was carried out by combining different material models integrating analytical equations, thermodynamic software and data model) and in the development of several registered models (VECAST-Vertical Continuous Casting Solidification – Reg No. TXu 2-103-442 (12-09-2018), model to predict the evolution of temperature, solidified layer thickness and metallurgical length during the solidification process of steel in the vertical continuous casting process; REHEAT- Reheating Furnace Thermal Evolution - Reg No. TXu 2-103-444 (12-09-2018); model to calculate the thermal profile of product heating in reheating furnaces).
