Personal profile

ShortBio

I received my Master Degree in Industrial Engineering with an specialisation in Hydraulic Engineering by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2020. During the Master Thesis I worked for a couple years as an intern research student in the Fluid Mechanics laboratory, working with a newly installed wave flume. Once it finshed, I began my career as an Offshore Renewable Energy Researcher at Tecnalia, where I work as a numerical modeler of floating/fixed offshore wind turbines and wave energy converters. Since September 2023 I combine my work at Tecnalia with a PhD project, in which I am developing a surrogate-model based integrated design optimisation framework, supported by active learning strategies.
