Personal profile
ShortBio
Climate data analyst with experience in the processing, analysis and interpretation of environmental and geospatial information to support the assessment of climate change risks and impacts. He has a background in Environmental Sciences, postgraduate specialisation in biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and management, and complementary training in data analysis with Python, GIS and remote sensing. He has relevant experience in climate, environmental and territorial analysis projects, having participated in initiatives at regional, national and international levels in Europe and South America (European commission, Copernicus, ECMWF...) related to climate change adaptation, risk assessment, the development of climate services, and territorial resilience.
He is specialised in handling large volumes of data, modelling, indicator development, and the design of reproducible Python workflows for studies related to floods, extreme temperatures, wildfires and other climate hazards. In addition, he is used to working with heterogeneous data sources, both observational and projected, and to transforming complex results into clear and useful information for decision-making. In this regard, he combines a strong technical background with an applied perspective, oriented towards climate adaptation, infrastructure, territorial planning and public service projects.
