Graduated in Electronics Engineering from Universidad del Valle, Cali - Colombia, in 2006. He obtained a Master's degree in Robotics and Automation, in 2013, and later a PhD in Robotics, Automation and Computer Vision from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona - Spain, in 2021. He began his professional experience, in 2005, in the field of product development for the transportation and automotive sector, through a venture linked to Parquesoft in Cali-Colombia. At the same time he worked as a lecturer in the electronics technology and systems technology programs at the Universidad del Valle in Cali-Colombia. While pursuing his master's degree and doctorate studies at UPC, he participated in several research projects associated with dexterous and cooperative manipulation, belonging to the Institute of Organization and Control of Industrial Systems. He is currently a senior researcher in the Flexible Robotics area of the Industry and Mobility Operational Unit of TECNALIA.
