Arantza holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (2008) and a postgraduate diploma as a "University Specialist in Land Use Planning and Management" (2009). She has been working in the Energy and Environment Division of Tecnalia since April 2008. Primarily focused on the energy sector, Arantza's work has revolved around conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies across various sectors, processes, products and technologies, as well as implementing applications derived from this methodology (Environmental Product Declarations, Eco-design, support tools for evaluation, etc.). Since joining Tecnalia, Arantza has actively contributed to defining evaluation frameworks through indicators and has participated in the development of monitoring and follow-up plans. Notably, Arantza has honed her expertise in data management (information sourcing, inventory creation, processing, analysis, etc.), the design of methodologies and decision-support tools, gained familiarity with diverse energy technologies, and applied different methods for preparing plans and roadmaps.
