Graduated in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) in 2001 and obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in 2007 from the same University. 

In 2001, he joined the LEIA Foundation in the Pharmaceutical Development Laboratory. In 2011, the merger of centres and the creation of Foundation TECNALIA Research & Innovation took place and from December 2013, she also assumed the position of Qualified Person (QP) of the Pharmaceutical Development Laboratory of Tecnalia certified by the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). She is also Manager of Galenic and Analytical Development at Tecnalia's new Basque Pharmalabs 4.0 laboratories located in the Miñano technology park. 

In her research work, she has participated for more than 20 years in many R&D projects in the field of galenic development and analytical development of new drugs, maintaining close collaboration with the Nanobiocel group of the UPV/EHU over all these years.
