Beñat Garcia Mendizabal receives his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (automotive technology and energy efficiency specialization) from Tecnun university of Navarra in 2015 and his master’s degree in Industrial Electronics from Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in 2017.
Since his studies, Beñat has been involved in the development of HW embedded systems for the automotive industry and the development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms for ADAS systems. The projects he has been working on were based on HDI PCB design for automotive applications based on microcontrollers and FPGAs. Moreover, he has experience in FW development for microcontrollers and FPGAs as well.
Currently Beñat is HW engineer of the Rehabilitation Department in the Health Division of TECNALIA Research & Innovation. The main tasks carrying out is this position are the development and validation of HW embedded systems for FES.
