Beñat Villanueva Ordoñez

Graduated in Biology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), later completed a master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). He has collaborated as an intern in the Physical Anthropology laboratory of UPV and in the Immunology laboratory of IIS Biocruces Bizkaia. He has experience in detecting genetic variants in human DNA from gene panels or exomes, representation techniques, and machine learning techniques, among others. He currently works as a bioinformatician at Tecnalia R&I, where he collaborates in the routine analyses of the Genetics Laboratory while implementing and applying new bioinformatics techniques.
