Personal profile
ShortBio
Physicist with 3+ years of applied research experience at Tecnalia Research & Innovation, specialising in optical characterisation and chemometrics. Combines multi-technique spectroscopy (LIBS, Raman, NIR, UV-VIS, hyperspectral imaging) with machine learning and deep learning to develop industrial material identification and quality control solutions. Contributed to the development and deployment of Trazia, a multimodal spectral sensing platform.
Holds a B.Sc. in Physics (University of Granada, 2022), where his degree thesis focused on the optimisation of tunable LED light sources to enhance colour discrimination for colour-blind subjects using vision simulation algorithms and RGB/hyperspectral image processing. Subsequently completed an M.Sc. in Advanced Materials Engineering (UPV/EHU, 2024), with a thesis on the development of an imaging-based method to measure the thickness of fresh concrete specimens for the determination of mechanical properties. Currently completing an M.Sc. in Quantum Technologies (UIMP).
