Carmen del Río: She has a Master degree in Geology by the University of the Basque Country (1990). She has a Master in Geological and Environmental Engineering. She Works in Tecnalia (before Inasmet-Tecnalia) since 1992. At present she works in the waste valorisation group of the Circularity Area in Tecnalia. She is specialist in the analysis of inorganic compounds in water, wastewater, industrial effluents, Industrial waste, soil and other environmental samples. She has large experience in working with instrumental techniques as Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Emission Spectrometry (ICP-MS) Total Reflexion X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF) Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (GFAAS and HGAAS) and Combustion Ion Chromatography (CIC). She has participated in several projects related to waste recovery, providing support in the characterization of the initial products, the final materials, as well as the samples of the intermediate steps. She has recently worked on several European projects such as LICORNE, FIREFLY, REEPRODUCE, ION4RAW, RAWMINA, CROCODILE, TARANTULA, COLABATS, REECOVER, REMAGHIC, METGROW+, REE4EU, PLATIRUS and several projects financed by the Basque Government (Elkartek & Hazitek programmes), as well as other private industrial projects.
