ShortBio
After obtaining a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mostaganem (Algeria) in 2019 and a second master's degree in innovative process engineering from Sorbonne Paris North University (France) in 2020, she earned a PhD in engineering sciences in 2023 from the same university, Sorbonne Paris North (France), where she worked on diamond synthesis via chemical vapor deposition for various applications (new materials, biological, and optical applications). She is the co-author of 2 articles in scientific journals and a French patent (n°FR2304479) titled 'Process for diamond synthesis by distributed microwave plasmas.' During her PhD, she worked on the synthesis of CVD diamond thin films containing NV centers created during CVD growth or by ion implantation, as well as on optimizing the properties of NV centers by controlling their density and charge state with post-treatments such as surface terminations. She currently works at TECNALIA Research & Innovation as a researcher on the NEXT platform. Her work focuses on diamond growth using a CVD reactor, and on the creation, control, and manipulation of NV centers in diamond layers during growth (in-situ) and using FIB (ex-situ).
