Dr. Cristina Elizetxea graduate in Chemical Science in the University of Basque Country (1992) and PhD in Chemistry in the University of Basque Country (2000), she is currently Project Manager and responsible for Polymers, Composites and Biobased Materials at TECNALIA: She has more than 20 years research experience in the field of composite materials mainly oriented to thermoplastic technologies (extrusion, injection, compression) and recycling technologies for both thermoplastic and thermosetting materials. Since the last ten years, her main activity is focused in the industrialization of the in situ polymerization and moulding process of anionic APA6, for automotive continuous fibre thermoplastic composites.

Five patents, four co-directed PhD Thesis, industrial projects and more than 18 scientific publication and contributions to workshops and congress justify her expertise.
