Daniel Landa is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Deusto in 2004. Currently, he serves as a Senior Technologist in the Software Technologies division of Tecnalia's Digital unit. Specializing in server application development, Daniel is an expert in utilizing technologies such as Traefik, NGINX, Gunicorn, Django, and Postgres. He possesses extensive experience in deploying these applications using GitLab pipelines and Dockerized services, applied to production projects for leading companies like BASF and Petronor.
Previously, Daniel was a member of Tecnalia's Cyber Security & Safety division, where he developed applications based on blockchain technology (Ethereum, Besu, Quorum, Hyperledger Fabric, and Sawtooth). He also has experience in developing highly available cloud-scalable applications (AWS). Furthermore, Daniel has expertise in mobility payment systems and geolocation via wearables on Linux systems with Django/Python environments. He was responsible for designing and developing a Multimedia Asset Manager (MAM) for professional broadcast environments.
Before joining Tecnalia, Daniel contributed to the development of an ERP on the .NET platform in Bangalore, India (Lantek I+D, 2009). Additionally, he participated in the Leonardo Da Vinci program of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, contributing to the development of open-source web-based document management tools at the Institute of Composite Materials in Kaiserslautern, Germany (IVW, 2005).
