In February 2010, he joined AIRBORNE COMPOSITES as a Design Engineer, where, in addition to commercial aeronautical and space projects, he was involved in a number of European research projects such as: HIVOCOMP (Advanced materials enabling high-volume road transport applications of lightweight structural composite parts) under the Seventh Framework Programme, SAGE2 LIGHT-COWLS and AGF (Active Gurney Flap) under CleanSky, and the JUICE (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) mission for ESA’s Cosmic Vision programme.

In January 2018, he joined TECNALIA as a Senior Researcher/Project Manager in the Department of Composite Materials Technologies for Industry and Mobility Applications, working on national and European research projects such as PIVOT2 under Shift2Rail H2020, the TRANSCEND Project: advanced low-cost materials and processes for high-cadence aircraft, the SMILE Project ‘SMall Innovative Launcher for Europe’ (Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme), etc.
