Eduardo Chamorro Martin

Architect at the intersection of architectural practice and emergent construction technologies, I specialize in parametric computational architecture, construction innovation, and bespoke structural engineering. I also focus on additive manufacturing, digital fabrication, materials, robotics, and emerging technologies.

Currently a PhD candidate at Swinburne University (Melbourne, Australia) in High-performance composites additive manufacturing for architecture. This research focuses on implementing composite additive manufacturing technologies through computational parametric workflows to produce lightweight architectural elements.

I have worked as a faculty for computational and rapid prototyping technologies and as a researcher at several institutions:
- IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) in the Master in Design for Emergent Futures (MDEF), Master for Advanced Architecture (MAA), Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings (MAEB), 3D Printing in Architecture (3DPA), FabAcademy at IAAC FabLab Barcelona. Researcher in a variety of European research projects.

- CEU San Pablo University, as invited professor of computational design and fabrication with FabLab Madrid

- UACEG (University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy) of Bulgaria in the Master of Science in Computational and Advanced Design (MSc CAD) at Design Morphine.

- FabCity Foundation, as faculty for the Master in Design for Distributed Innovation

My educational background includes a Master's Degree in Architecture from CEU San Pablo University, a Fab Academy diploma in Digital Fabrication offered by the Fab Lab Network, a Master's Degree in Advanced Architecture from IAAC (Spain), and a registered Spanish architectural license.
Moreover, I have worked as Fab Lab Seoul director and external collaborator for several design and architecture studios.
