MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Master in Enology, Viticulture, Wine tasting and Winery management and Postgraduate studies in Chemistry, Nutrition and Sport Genetics. She is currently preparing her PhD at the UPV/EHU. She has 25 years R&D experience managing and developing many research projects at national and international level, both with public funding and for private companies. Her experience is mainly focused on obtaining high-value bioactive components from agri-food wastes applying innovative technological processes and the development and characterization of functional foods and beverages with high nutritional value.
