Dr. Eider Aldalur Urresti graduated in Industrial Technology Engineering by University of Basque Country (UPV- EHU) in 2016. In 2018, she holds a master’s in industrial engineering specialized in material engineering in the same university and in 2022, a PhD degree in mechanical engineering. Nowadays, she is working in Tecnalia research center in a topic related to the development of the high deposition additive manufacturing technology, known as, Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM). Previously, she worked in the aeronautical company ITP S.A in the advanced manufacturing department, specifically, in the metallic additive manufacturing area, working on selective laser melting (SLM) technology. Besides, she received a grant to work in the Polymat Research Centre (The Basque Centre for Macromolecular Design and Engineering) carrying out cell differentiation and selective growing experiments in 3D printed polymeric micropatterns. In Tecnalia research centre she has participated in projects at regional, national and European level.
