Elisa Prada holds a degree in Mathematics by University of the Basque Country (2003) and she has awarded with several research fellowships grants like the Wolfram Geometry Scholarship in memory of Alfred Gray (Scuola Matemática Interuniversitaria de Perugia, 2003) and the Scholarship in Research for students in the last course of their career (CSIC, 2002). From 2003 to 2007 she specialized as a researcher in Virtual Reality in the Mechanics department of LABEIN. After that, she spent a short period in PANDA SOFTWARE, where she worked with classification algorithms. Since 2007 she has worked as a researcher in the Health division in TECNALIA in the field of telecare, active aging and non-intrusive monitoring at home. In the last years she has mainly worked in the field of artificial intelligence, addressing both supervised and unsupervised learning for the treatment of physiological signals. She is currently working on the capture and processing of EMG signals and kinematics data, functional electrical stimulation for rehabilitation and the evaluation of the use of exoskeletons. She has contributed to several European ( ENABLED, AmIE, HaptiMAP, BEDMOND, REHYB, INTEX, CoMPaSS-NMD) and national research projects (TARVITEK, DENOBIDE, ELDERBASK, VITALITY, eBIZI, BG 2015, EXODYN, EXOSASUN).
