Telecommunications Engineer from UPV-EHU in 1997 and Doctor in Security and Privacy of multi-cloud systems, within the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering program of UPV-EHU in 2020. Erkuden is the Director of Cybersecurity projects at the Digital Division of Tecnalia. She is an expert in various security research fields, such as cyber risk analysis, architectures and tools for the resilience of ICT systems, especially critical systems and cloud services, as well as Artificial Intelligence technologies for risk prevention and detection of cyber threats.
Erkuden has coordinated and led security research in numerous national and European R&D&I projects, such as MUSA, POSEID-ON, ENACT, SPHINX, SPEAR, KYKLOS, PDP4E, TACIT, RISC, ANIKETOS, SWEPT, CIPHER, and SHIELDS. Erkuden collaborates with technological platforms and forums such as Cybersecurity PPP ECSO, ETSI SAI, ENISA, PTE Disruptive, the Spanish Technological Platform for Industrial Safety, and the RENIC network.
Prior to joining Tecnalia in 2003, she worked for six years at Ericsson España S.A., developing international R&D and radio systems industrialization projects.
