Eutimio Sánchez, B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Electrical - Electronic Specialization (1986), and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Specialization (1993).

He is a Project Management Professional, certified by the Project Management Institute, Pennsylvania-USA (2011).

He has developed his entire professional career at TECNALIA, where he currently serves as Project Director and Principal Researcher in the area of Electrical Networks and Energy Systems. Since 2005, he has been technically involved in and responsible for numerous R&D projects related to Micro-grids, Distributed Generation, Renewable Generation and Distribution Network Automation (primary and Secondary); at Regional, National and European levels; with both Public and Private funding.

He also provides support to Energy and Environmental Policy Makers in in defining and deploying their Strategic Energy Plans in these issues.

Thanks to the experience acquired over more than 20 years, he is an expert in the market aspects of the electricity distribution sector, both in terms of distribution operators and manufacturers of equipment for electrical networks, including high, medium and low voltage infrastructures.
