Fernando Jorge Hernández was born in 1985 in Bilbao, Spain. He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Deusto in 2010. His final year project was on 'Dynamic interfaces adapted to people with disabilities using Android devices.' In 2010, he joined the Evida research team, recognized as type B by the Basque Government (R2010 and R2013), where he worked until 2017 on research projects in the areas of health and new technologies serving society, both in national and international projects. Alongside this work, he studied an official master's degree in 'Development and Integration of Software Solutions' at the University of Deusto. In 2016, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Telecommunications with a thesis titled 'Graph Theory in the Characterization of Brain Pathologies in Magnetic Resonance Images.' Since 2017, he has been part of the Core of Software Technologies at Tecnalia, where his main work is the research and development of projects in the field of ICT, communication protocols, and natural language processing using LLM models as well as various techniques for similarity, information extraction, or summaries.
