MSc in Industrial Engineering by the School of Engineering of University of the Basque Country. Before joining TECNALIA in 2006 as responsible for laser processes, he worked at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. during 5 years taking part and coordinating international projects concerning laser technology. During the last years his work has been focused on laser welding of thermoplastics, laser conduction joining of metal-thermoplastic composites and ceramic coatings applied on steel surfaces by laser technology.
