Francisco Blanco Esquivel: He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in 2020. He received a Master’s degree in Robotics and Automation from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in 2022, completing his master’s thesis at the UC3M Robotics Lab. He joined Acciona as an intern in 2021 in the Robotics department and in 2022 became part of the 3D Printing team as a Robotics Engineer. Since 2022, he has been working in the field of robotics for industrial flexibility at Tecnalia as a Researcher, working on autonomous navigation, bi-manual manipulation and imitation learning for coverage path planning tasks. Since 2026, he is also a Ph.D. candidate at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in the field of Automation, Robotics, and Vision, focusing on Imitation Learning applied to industrial robotic manipulation tasks. His interests lie in the autonomous acquisition of skills and their integration when performing complex tasks with guaranteed performance and safety.
