Giuseppe was born in Italy and currently is living in Spain. Degree in Computer Science from Pisa university. He worked in Olivetti where he has carried out different tasks and roles such as: programmer, system tester, quality manager, marketing team manager. Moved in the European Software Institute (ESI) where was involved in the development and first evaluation of the SPICE model. In 2008 will join Tecnalia, that is the largest centre of applied research and technological development in Spain.

Giuseppe is Lead Appraiser (Since 2001) and High Maturity Lead Appraiser (since 2008) certified by ISACA for CMMI 3.0 DEV and SVC. He has a wide experience with CMMI and ISO 30000 (old SPICE) models. He has conducted more than 150 Class A appraisals, 20 High-Maturity and more than 200 Class B/C types of appraisals.

Giuseppe has wide international experience in consulting activities on process optimization and improvement in organizations belonging to different market segments (engineering, IT service providers and suppliers, communication, industry and public administration), with different size (from micro to very big organizations) and in different worldwide countries (Spain, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Australia, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, México).

Giuseppe is also expert in agile methodologies, SCRUM Master and Certified Kanban Management Professional by Kanban University

He is an expert in quality engineering, change management, process evaluations, improvement programs implementations; special expertise in high maturity practices and in combining model-based process improvement with quantitative based one. He has been leader in one of the most important Tecnalia knowledge transfer projects in Australia and in several clustering types of projects in Spain, Denmark, and Italy.

  • Lead Appraiser for Level 5 appraisals in IBM (Spain), LIG-NEX1 (Korea), NTT Data Centers (Spain and Latin America), INETUM (Spain), Critical Software (Portugal), NTT BPO Spain
  • Consulting on CMMI implementation or appraising multi-sites organisations (both DEV and SVC) such as: NTT Data Centers (Spain), Engineering (Italy), Bosch (Spain), INETUM (Spain), AXA Italia, Almaviva (Italy)
  • Consultancy based on CMMI-ACQ for defining the operational protocol between contractor and external providers in AST (Spain)
  • Kanban implementation in Viewnext (Spain) and in Robert Bosch Madrid where Kanban was in combination with Critical Chain Project Management
