Graduated in Physical Sciences, specializing in Electronics and Automation, from the University of the Basque Country (1988) and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Project Management (2006). He has over 25 years of experience as a researcher in information technologies, where he has participated in the execution and technical coordination of R&D projects at regional, national, and European levels, having led several of them for TECNALIA (for example, PASSION, VIDOP, VITALAS, or iCargo). He has worked in areas such as mobility applications, system monitoring and control, user interfaces, user experience (UX), or innovation management. Currently, in the area of IT Competitiveness in the ICT division, he participates with TECNALIA in cloud technology projects.
