With a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing (ETSII Bilbao, UPV/EHU, 2013) and a Bachelor’s in Materials Engineering (TECNUN, San Sebastián, 2002), he brings over 20 years of expertise in modeling and simulating complex systems. His work spans advanced chassis control for the automotive industry and flight control systems for the aerospace sector, utilizing Model-Based Design methodologies.
As a principal investigator and recognized expert in vehicle dynamics and modeling, he has led multiple research groups over the years. His contributions include the award-winning DYNACAR vehicle simulation software, which received the Best CAE Tool 2011 Award from Automotive Testing Technology International Magazine.
He has spearheaded and coordinated numerous national and European projects focused on electric propulsion systems, emphasizing vehicle dynamics, propulsion modeling, and suspension testing. His work is widely published in international scientific journals and conferences, with contributions to patents in the fields of transportation electrification and vehicle dynamics.
Currently, he serves as the Technical Director of the Urban Air Mobility department at TECNALIA, driving innovation at the forefront of aerial transportation technologies.
