ShortBio
Iñigo Delgado lives in Bilbao and works at Tecnalia as a PhD student. He graduated in Physics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain, in 2019 and obtained a Master's degree in Quantum Sciences and Technologies from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain, in 2020. Since 2020, he has been working on his doctoral thesis in Artificial Intelligence with UPV/EHU and Tecnalia. The thesis focuses on the application of different Artificial Intelligence techniques to problems in urban planning, accessibility, and climate. Within the research framework of the thesis, he has addressed urban accessibility problems, where evolutionary algorithms, specifically genetic algorithms, have been applied for multi-objective optimization. Similarly, he has also dealt with the estimation of Urban Heat Islands in urban areas using deep learning techniques. The use of these techniques has also led him to master various data processing tools in different formats. He also spent a year on Erasmus at Aarhus University, Denmark, where he wrote and defended his undergraduate thesis.
