Iván earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of the Basque Country. Expert in cryptography and cybersecurity, he owns a M.Sc. in Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems.
As a member of TECNALIA, Iván has been working on R&D projects related to PKI, IdM, IAM, chip-based cryptography, contactless technologies and mobile devices. Currently, he applies his knowledge in cybersecurity to distributed ledger technologies, and actively cooperates with organizations such as the Hyperledger Corporate Memership, Alastria and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance.
With the aim of technology knowledge-sharing, Iván is actively contributing as an external lecturer for the ESIC, Business & Marketing School, being part of the Hyperledger Speakers Bureau, being a peer reviewer for IEEE Access and SN Computer Science journals, writing research articles and through specialized learning programs and congresses about blockchain, cybersecurity for finance and cryptography.
