Degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid in 1988 (specialty Analytical Chemistry) and PhD of Science from the University of the Basque Country in 1996. In 1991 she has been incorporated in Inasmet-Tecnalia in the chemical technology and environmental department with a grant funded by the Engineering School of the Basque Country to carry out her PhD in the field of effluent treatments. Once her PhD finished she joined Inasmet staff for working in projects focused on looking for solutions of diverse industrial problems in chemical and environmental sectors. In 2004 she joined the group of Micro and Nanotechnologies as senior researcher to develop projects related to the synthesis, dispersion, functionalization and characterization of nanomaterials, in particular in the chemistry of carbon nanostructures (carbon nanotubes, graphene). In 2010 she has continued developing their activities at Tecnalia in the area of multifunctional materials working on printing electronic: conductive inks and printing processes and participating in many European and private projects in her area of expertise for several Industrial Markets especially for transport and energy sector. She is also responsible for Tecnalia Clean Rooms and Functional Printing laboratory.
