Javier García-Tejedor is an Industrial Electrical Engineer by the Bilbao Faculty of Engineering (ETSI Bilbao), at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Postgraduate in Advanced Engineering in Mechanical Systems at the same University, and Master in Innovation Management by the Provincial Government of Bizkaia.

He worked for 25 years for ROBOTIKER, a technological centre, in various positions of responsibility, at first as Project Manager, and later as Director of various business areas such as Robotics and Artificial Vision, Automation or Energy.

He also served as Professor of Industrial Robotics at Deusto University, and participated as a lecturer in several courses and masters in Electronics, Robotics, Automation, Advanced Automatization, Innovation Management and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.

Author of numerous publications and patents in the fields of Industrial Automation and Energy.

He also had position of responsibility as Deputy Manager in the Energy and Environment Division of the technological centre Tecnalia Research & Innovation.

He is/has been part of several BoDs such as:

  • NAUTILUS Floating Solutions S.L.: President of BoD.
  • KIC InnoEnergy Iberia S.L. : BoD Member
  • TECNALIA VENTURES S.L.U.:  BoD Member and Secretary
