He has 33 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He has worked directly with more than twenty organizations across various market sectors, providing training, consultancy, and the implementation of process improvement and evaluation, as well as support for ISO 9001, ISO 14,000, ISO 20,000 certification, IT-Mark auditing, CMMI consultancy for levels 2 and 3, and the implementation of Agile models.

Mr. Puelles has led improvement programs in organizations from different industrial sectors (banking, telecommunications, transportation, and service companies that have outsourced software development). He has also actively participated in the first national project for the implementation of the CMMI-ACQ model (development, training, and deployment) at the Directorate-General for Traffic.

Some of the reference clients include: MoviStar, Everis, INDRA, Thales, Confederation of Spanish Savings Banks, Caixa Terrasa, Caixa Penedés, Caja Sol, IBERCAJA, IRIZAR, Directorate-General for Traffic, Connectis, Deloitte, GFI, Serikat, Grupo Carso Mexico, and the Argentine Federal Planning Ministry.

Mr. Puelles has worked on consulting and implementation projects in the following areas:

  • Design of development methodologies, software engineering practices, and project management (CMMI improvement projects, SPICE, IEEE, Metrica v3).
  • Design, deployment, and auditing of quality models such as ISO 9000, ISO 14,000, and ISO 20,000.
  • Definition and implementation of ITIL processes, ISO/IEC 20000, and CMMI for Services.
  • V&V (Verification & Validation) techniques and testing engineering.
  • Metrics systems (GQM), application of Six Sigma, and others.
