Jesus Isoird, MBA and Industrial management engineer by Deusto University and certified PMP for project management by PMI. Jesus has a long track experience in research an innovation in the construction. For more than 15 years he has been involved in the definition of strategic research programmes and leading teams. He has a strong industrial experience developed in Acciona as research and innovation manager, being responsible of the European strategy. Since mid 2016, he has different responsibilities in Tecnalia, as Director of the infrastructure business area and after as Technology Manager of building and infrastructure area. Currently he is the leader of the focal point on smart construction specialisation focus domain. During his career, he has gained relevant experience in developing innovation ecosystems, being active part of technology platforms, as coordinator of the Spanish National Construction Technology Platform and member of the Steering Committee of the European one (ECTP). He was also actively involved in the Shift2Rail steering committee during the launching phase) and in the EeB Public Private Partnership, now Built4People PPP. He is currently involved in the development of the industrialisation hub of the Basque Country.
