Bachelor degree in Chemistry. Researcher at Healthy Food Area. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the development of R&D projects. Her lines of research are especially focused on the development of physical-chemical extraction processes (solid-liquid, liquid-liquid, etc.) and purification (membranes, SPE, SPME, etc.) of active compounds from biomass for the development of new ingredients with functional activity (polyphenols, carotenes, proteins, etc.). She also highlights her experience in the development of analytical methodologies for detection, identification and quantification of compounds by chromatographic techniques (UPLC-PDA-MS, GC-FID-MS, etc.). In 2015 she participated in a 14-week training process at the Institute of Food Research in Norwich (England), for the specialization in detection and quantification by Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry. She has participated in the development of two patents.
