Jesus Herrero Arranz. PhD in Computer Science from the University of Deusto (1999). Master Foundations of Advanced Information Technology from Imperial College London (1990). He has 33 years of experience in the TECNALIA Technology Centre where he is responsible for the integrated offer in Tourism. He has led numerous national and international research projects related to innovation and the application of ICTs to sectors such as Smart Cities and Tourism. He has specialised in the domains of Data Space and Tourism Information Systems. He has collaborated with SEGITTUR in the development of the Smart Tourism Destinations project. He has participated in the European projects for the definition and implementation of the European Tourism Data Space (DATES and DEPLOYTOUR). He coordinates the ICT Working Group of ThinkTur, the Spanish Technological Platform for Tourism. He is a member of the UNE 178 Technical Committee for Standardisation on Tourist Destinations. He is a member of the GAIA-X Tourism Working Groups at national and European level.
