Jon Aguirre Usandizaga completed his studies at the School of Engineering San Mamés and holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering (2021) and a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering (2023). During his studies in telecommunications engineering, he gained a comprehensive understanding of electronics, telecommunications systems, and a particularly deep knowledge of programming and networks, specializing in the field of telematics. His proficiency extended to various programming languages, including C, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Python, demonstrating a competent level in these languages.
During his internship at Owasys as a software engineer from October 2020 to July 2021, he actively participated in conducting integration tests of the OWA450 equipment with the AWS platform (Amazon Web Services), developing Python applications, and delving into the practical implementation and integration of the TPM 2.0 security hardware in the device.
In his role as an engineer at Trescal Ibérica from September 2021 to May 2022, he specialized in performing calibrations for a wide variety of equipment, automating calibration processes, and optimizing procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency in the calibration workflow.
Subsequently, he worked as a Python developer specializing in automating the validation of data concentrators and meters at Tecnalia from September 2023 to January 2024. His primary focus was to create efficient applications that streamlined the validation process, developing robust Python applications that leveraged SOAP web services and automated SSH, NTP, and DHCP servers. He gained a deep understanding of the DLMS application layer protocol. Currently, since January 2024, he serves as a software architect at Tecnalia, working with Big Data technologies such as Spark.
