Personal profile
ShortBio
Industrial Engineer, Universidad Superior de Navarra (TECNUN), San Sebastián (2006), Master in “Energy Systems”, University of Gävle, Sweden (2006) and Master in Innovation and Technology Management, University of Deusto, San Sebastián (2009). Principal investigator in the Energy Division of TECNALIA since 2007, he has served as director of numerous projects, both nationally and internationally. Among his references, one example is the Research and Development of an alkaline electrolyser for the production of pure hydrogen, a project developed between 2007 and 2009 in which he had direct participation, and was responsible for the design and validation of certain components, as well as the construction of prototypes and the evaluation of their performance in the laboratory.
Since 2011, he has been the head of the Membrane Technology and Process Intensification department, where one of the main lines of research is the production and purification of hydrogen for different applications. He has participated in the development of different Roadmaps related to hydrogen, and is a member of the scientific-technological committee of the company H2SITE.
