Jorge Arnal (Male). Senior Researcher at TECNALIA. He is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Zaragoza and graduated in Business Administration and Management from the National Distance Education University (UNED). Developing his professional career in the research and innovation field since 2013, he has gained a very valuable experience by executing/leading/coordinating relevant activities in a broad range of R&D&i projects. His research activity has been focused on the development of energy, exergy and thermo-economic analysis of different industrial systems, energy optimization of manufacturing processes, life cycle assessment and life cycle costing studies, techno-economic analysis, energy storage systems, development of software tools based on LCA/LCC/exergy premises and definition and implementation of eco-design strategies, among others. He has actively participated in European projects of different programmes (e.g, FP7: HELM, EFEVE; H2020: NEMMO, Polynspire, CircPack; Life+: MagnHeat), and he is author of more than 10 publications in scientific journals and conferences. Additionally, he is also experienced in training and teaching activities focused on circular economy and life cycle assessment.
