Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Deusto (2010), Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (2003) specializing in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology) and Industrial Technical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (2002). He joined LABEIN in July 2003, participating in the implementation and improvement of the Environmental Management System, according to UNE-EN-ISO14001, Quality Systems: UNE-EN ISO 9001, UNE-EN ISO 17025 and Occupational Risk Prevention according to OHSAS 18001, and collaborating in various corporate sustainability initiatives. Since 2011 he has developed his skills as a researcher in the Energy and Environment Division (now as TECNALIA), with more than 13 years of experience in research, participating in different lines of work in the field of sustainability, efficient use of resources (waste, water, etc.) and climate change. He currently focuses his dedication in the field of adaptation to climate change, with more than 10 years of experience in the development of methodologies and vulnerability/risk studies, definition and analysis of adaptation measures and climate resilience studies, mainly focused on the urban environment, services and critical infrastructures (energy, gas, transport, ICT, water, etc.), and interdependencies between critical infrastructures of the urban system. We would also like to highlight its dedication to research on the impacts of climate change on the urban environment.
